A new section of shot blasting of aluminum parts has been launched at a Russian enterprise

In September 2026, a modern shot blasting complex was successfully commissioned at one of the leading Russian enterprises specializing in the production of critical products. The new section is designed for highly efficient cleaning of aluminum parts and includes an automatic shot blasting drum, as well as a shot blasting chamber with a pull-out trolley for manual processing.

Technological features of the complex

The installed equipment is designed with an emphasis on high wear resistance, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness:

• Automation and ergonomics: The shot-blasting drum is equipped with a loading skip and an unloading vibrating conveyor, which allows it to operate in fully automatic mode.
• Increased resource: The protection of the working chamber and the plate conveyor are made of heavy-duty manganese steel.
• Energy efficiency: The introduction of a high-performance energy-saving turbine has significantly reduced the company’s operating costs.
• Environmental safety: Modern wet filters are used to effectively and safely remove dust and ensure safe working conditions.
• Tightness: The vertically sliding door completely eliminates the flight of shot outside the working area. 

Implementation results

To date, the complex has been successfully brought back to normal operation. The company’s staff has completed a full course of instruction and has started full-fledged operation of the equipment. Modernization of production allowed the plant to optimize operating costs, reduce depreciation of fixed assets and improve the quality of manufactured critical products.
