An automatic high-pressure casting complex has been launched at Russia’s largest lighting equipment manufacturing facility

As part of the production capacity development project, the YIZUMI automatic casting complex based on a casting machine with a locking force of 400 tons was put into operation. The casting complex is designed for the manufacture of castings of body parts of searchlights made of aluminum alloys.

Key features of the casting complex:

• Clamping force: 400 tons;
• The total cycle time is not more than 50 seconds;
• The production capacity of the complex is at least 1,500 castings per day;
• The fully automatic casting production process is carried out through the use of three industrial manipulators (a manipulator for pouring molten metal, a manipulator for mold lubrication and a manipulator for extracting castings), as well as the integration of all peripheral devices into a single control system of the foundry complex.

This equipment has allowed to increase the production capacity of the enterprise and expand the range of manufactured products.
