Started-up of KUTTNER SAVELLI molding line at JSC POLYMET

24.06.2015 at the foundry JSC POLYMET (Polevskoy) an automatic molding line KUTTNER SAVELLI (Italy).

Characteristics of the moulding line: flask size 1040×900×300 / 300 mm, productivity 120 full moulds per hour. The moulding line was delivered with a sand preparation plant with an output 100 tons per hour. The moulding method — the method of double mould squeezing FormImpress — provides the production of an automatic molding line of consistently high quality. Line works fully automatically. The sand preparation plant is equipped with a SANDCONTROL (sand quality control system) and AQUATEST (sand humidity control system).

Another interesting thing, at the line was realized a system of combined cooling of castings: in flasks and in metal jackets.
