Commissioning of a new sand plant — 60 tonnes per hour at JSC Foundry-Mechanical Plant

In 2020, the reconstruction of the sand plant area was carried out at JSC LMZ in Semyonov, Nizhny Novgorod region.

As part of the reconstruction, on 11.12.2020 a new sand plant with a capacity of 60 t/h was put into operation: SK 60 mix cooler, SP 60 polygonal sieve, electromagnetic separator and additional equipment.

This equipment has made it possible to double the volume of moulding mixture preparation with the aim of further modernisation of the moulding section and commissioning of the second automatic moulding line.
