JSC Trubodetal, Chelyabinsk, (OMK Group) put into operation a shot blasting complex produced by STEM (Slovenia) for blasting of pipe fittings. The shot blasting complex cleans the internal and external surfaces of parts from corrosion products and scale that are formed after heat treatment. This allows to identify possible defects already at an early stage of production, as well as to prepare the surface of the product for further operations.
«The new shot blasting complex is one of the stages of a major project to modernize the production of stamped parts. The project being implemented today has enabled the company to improve the quality of its products and optimize the timing of its production», said Dmitry Markov, Managing Director of the JSC Trubodetal (origin).
