YIZUMI Innovative Solutions in Structural Die Casting
Published: 29.10.2024
With its advanced production facilities put into operation in 2022 and the latest technology solutions for high pressure die casting of super-large structural body parts using BiW (body-in-white) technology, YIZUMI has reached a major milestone on its journey to becoming one of the leading global players in the high-pressure die-casting (HPDC) industry.
In 2022, a new plant was opened in Wusha, Shunde for the production of ultra-large machines with up to 20,000 tons of locking force. The total area of the plant is >230,000 square meters. The plant is equipped with 300 tons lifting capacity cranes. Production capacity: 100 units of ultra-large machines per year.
The company’s history is an amazingly dynamic development and rapid growth from a small startup to one of the largest and most advanced manufacturers molding equipment with an annual revenue of over $850 million. Founded in 2002 by a group of entrepreneurs as a small startup, YIZUMI launched its advanced HPDC solution in 2021 — the LEAP series machines with a locking force of 380 to 9.000 tons with an innovative hydraulic system that provides the highest casting productivity with minimal energy consumption.

ULTRA LARGE die casting machines are designed for the production of integrated structural body parts of new energy vehicle (NEV). As the NEV industry grows, the trend toward lightweight and efficient integrated castings is obvious. YIZUMI remains focused on this market, closely monitoring customer needs and market demand to continuously develop new products. Following significant breakthroughs in LEAP series technology, YIZUMI is expanding its LEAP series for larger integrated NEV components.
The LEAP 9000 machine with a locking force of 100,000 kN is equipped with a new shot system with a dynamic injection force exceeding 2,100 kN. It meets the productivity requirements for large, complex and long-distance filling of thin-walled structural components. The machine achieves high precision injection process control.
In addition, the LEAP 9000 die casting machine (with a locking force of 9.000 tons) adopts full servo control to save energy and ensure durability of hydraulic system components. Its ORCA control ecosystem and special servo valve provide excellent control of injection speed and pressure with real-time digital control of production parameters.
In recent years, YlZUMl has demonstrated strong technical capabilities in the field of comprehensive HPDC in the new energy vehicle industry, meeting market needs with its super-large die casting machines such as LEAP 9000 (with a locking force of 9.000 tons) and LEAP 7000 (with a locking force of 7.000 tons), and strengthening its technology leadership in the industry.
