Started-up the most powerful induction melting plant in the Russia

In January 2014, at one of the largest machine-building plants in Russia were put into operation the most powerful induction melting complex in the Russia. Melting plant type "2 MFTGe 25.000/ 15.000kW/ 250 Hz DUOMELT" produced by OTTO JUNKER (Germany). The melting complex consists of two induction furnaces with a capacity of 25 tons each, with a converter power of 15 MV. For the operation of the furnaces, the DUOMELT power distribution system with a common furnace cooling circuit is used, which allows to smoothly distribute energy between the furnaces using all the potential inherent in the equipment.
