KRMF plant started up the powerful melting plant produced by OTTO JUNKER

12.03.2018 induction melting complex OTTO JUNKER (Germany) was started up at JSC Kushva Roll Manufacturing Factory (Kushva).
Melting plant type 2MFT Ge 16.000 / 6.100 kW / 150 Hz, DUOMELT. The complex consists of 2 crucible furnaces with a capacity of 16 tons each, the power of converter of the complex is 6.1 MW. With the commissioning of the new OTTO JUNKER (Germany) melting complex, the productivity of the melting site at JSC KRMF was increased in 2 times. For the operation of the furnaces, the DUOMELT power distribution system with a common furnace cooling circuit is used, which allows to smoothly distribute energy between the furnaces using all the potential inherent in the equipment.
